A good pair of sneakers deserves good care. With the right routine, your Luigi Sardo sneakers will look fresh and last longer. Below you’ll find care instructions specific to each model, plus general tips for keeping any pair in top condition.

Low Cut Sneaker — Canvas Care

Canvas is durable but picks up dirt easily. Here’s how to keep your Low Cut Sneakers clean:

1. Remove the laces and insoles. Wash laces separately by hand or in a mesh laundry bag.
2. Brush off loose dirt with a soft-bristle brush or dry cloth.
3. Spot clean with a mix of warm water and mild soap (dish soap works well). Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub the canvas in circular motions.
4. Rinse with a damp cloth — avoid soaking the shoe entirely.
5. Air dry at room temperature. Stuff with paper towel to hold shape and absorb moisture. Never use a dryer or direct heat.

Pro tip: Apply a canvas protector spray before first wear to repel water and stains. Reapply every few weeks for best results.

Mid Cut Sneaker — Polyurethane Care

Polyurethane is naturally resistant to water and stains, making the Mid Cut Sneaker easier to maintain:

1. Wipe down with a damp cloth after each wear to remove surface dirt.
2. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Wipe gently — no need to scrub.
3. Dry with a clean cloth and let air dry completely before storing.

Pro tip: Polyurethane doesn’t need protector spray, but wiping regularly prevents dirt from building up in the texture.

Outsole Care

Both models feature 100% vulcanized rubber outsoles. To clean:

• Use an old toothbrush with warm soapy water to scrub the sole and sidewall.
• For stubborn marks, a magic eraser works well on white rubber.
• Dry completely before wearing again.

Insole Care

The soft EVA foam insoles can be removed for cleaning:

• Hand wash with mild soap and warm water.
• Air dry completely before placing back in the shoe.
• Replace insoles when they lose their cushion — typically after 6–12 months of daily wear.

Storage Tips
